2026 Pacific Dental Conference

Pacific Dental Conference – Vancouver, BC

Pacific Dental Conference

Dental CAD Studios owner and operator Ashtyn Hoffer recently attended and spoke at the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver, BC. During the event, Ashtyn presented on the differences between basic Exocad workflows often learned through quick tutorials and a fully developed digital workflow used in professional design environments.

His presentation walked attendees through the same case from two perspectives—first using a simple wizard-based approach commonly seen in online tutorials, and then through a complete digital workflow that incorporates proper records, articulators, treatment planning, and smile design considerations. The goal was to highlight how a structured digital workflow leads to more predictable, functional, and aesthetic outcomes.

While at the conference, Ashtyn also connected with industry professionals, including a conversation with Will Varda, discussing the continued evolution of digital dentistry and the growing role of collaboration between clinicians, laboratories, and digital designers.

Events like the Pacific Dental Conference provide valuable opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen industry connections, and continue advancing digital dentistry.

2024 Digital Denture Study Club

Digital Denture Study Club– Kelowna, BC

Digital Denture Study Club

We recently had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring the Kelowna International Digital Denture Study Club, an inspiring gathering dedicated to advancing the field of digital dentures. The Digital Denture Study Club, a not-for-profit organization founded by Canadian denturists, brings together professionals from across the industry to raise awareness of digital dentures and their impact on patient care and the profession.

The event fostered a transparent and collaborative environment where participants could openly share their experiences, insights, and lessons learned with digital denture technology. From industry successes to challenges, the discussions promoted innovation and best practices, allowing professionals to learn from each other and further enhance patient outcomes.

As sponsors, we were proud to support this valuable initiative, helping drive the digital transformation of denturism and create new possibilities for practitioners and patients alike.
